FAQ: Payment and Pricing

How much does your service cost?

The Funky Brewster offers a variety of services. This includes a minimum of one hour of barista service and up to 50 drinks. Every event is unique and our quotes are intended to provide you with an estimate that meets all of your needs without unnecessary expenses. Therefore, each custom quote is based on several factors including your location, date & time frame, and choice of service options. Contact us to receive a custom quote.

Do you offer any discounts?

Our Déjà Brew loyalty program gives you the opportunity to earn a discount and save money every time you use our service. Once you book 4 events within 12 months, you will begin to receive a discount on every invoice. You can earn even larger discounts by booking monthly or weekly events.

When is payment due?

If your event is more than 2 weeks away, you will receive a deposit invoice once you have filled out the event confirmation form. You will then receive your final invoice about a week before your event. 
All final payments are due on or before the day of the event. While we are happy to work with you ahead of time to receive payment at a different time, a late fee will be applied to payments overdue by more than 30 days. For more information, please refer to our terms of service

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards through our online payment system. Please note that due to liability and security concerns we cannot keep any cards on file. You can also pay with check or cash on the day of your event. If needed, a check may be mailed to our office at 5445 Oceanus Drive, Unit 117, Huntington Beach, CA, 92649.

What is your cancellation policy?

If events are canceled 14 or more days prior to the event date, you are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. If events are canceled 7-13 days prior to the event date, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the deposit or you may put the full deposit toward rescheduling the event for a future date. After this, the deposit is non-refundable regardless of whether the event is rescheduled. For more information, please refer to our terms of service.

How much gratuity should I add?

Gratuity is optional but always appreciated. You will have the option to add a gratuity to your invoice when you fill out the event confirmation form. A 15-20% gratuity is customary and will be distributed among the baristas who contributed to your event.
