In addition, we have a few tips to help your staff have the best service possible.
- When communicating with our office staff, please include a PDF copy of your school’s Tax Exempt license. This will enable us to accurately quote and invoice your event.
- Please check out our What to Expect page before your event to ensure you are ready for your barista to arrive.
- In our experience caffeinating schools, we have learned the importance of efficiency. This helps get your teachers to their classrooms on time. Standing in line for coffee may not always be an option, so we offer an order form system. This ensures your entire staff receives a delicious, handcrafted beverage! To utilize this approach:
How to use our Order Forms
- Please provide a delivery volunteer who is familiar with the school.
- Distribute blank order forms a few days before your event (available at buttons below)
- Collect order forms the day before the event, so they are ready to go for the barista.
- All order forms must be turned in to the barista at least one hour before the end of the event.
- Of course, people are welcome to come down and order their drinks in person at any time.
We have provided a PDF of each of our order forms. If you wish, you also have the option to include our Ordering Instructions note with the order forms when you distribute them.

We bring the coffee cart in for our staff and teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. The staff love the cart (with a record number of beverages requested this year). Our PTCO wanted to show the staff how much we appreciate what they do for our children, and providing them with a high quality product like The Funky Brewster coffee cart allows us to do that!
We combine our passion for coffee with our love for connecting people to bring the coffeehouse experience to your location. Our coffee shops on wheels are available for all types of events, and include handcrafted espresso beverages and anti-coffee drinks made individually by our traveling baristas. a message from our founder
I fell in love with coffee when I was 15 years old. Not because I liked coffee back then, but because of the way it made me feel as I sat at a local coffeehouse with my friends. It was about connecting with people over a warm mug.
Since then, I’ve grown to love the relationship it brings even more, and I’ve also grown to love the bean! Howard Schultz, Starbucks CEO, once said, “We are not in the coffee business serving people, but we are in the people business, serving coffee.” I love learning everything about coffee, from the countries of origin and the people who grow, handpick, and process it, to the technique in the roasting process, to the perfect brew.
But I also love learning about people, watching old friends connect or introducing people to each other as they linger at our carts. With a business that revolves around my two passions, coffee and people, I get to do what I love every day, and still have time for the most important relationships in my life.
Our Colorado team runs smoothly because of my friends, our Colorado manager, Amy, and our maintenance and purchasing manager, Zach. They attentively serve our baristas and clients, and I couldn’t run a business in two states without them! My husband, Kent, is an integral part of The Funky Brewster, serving as our tech support and website guru, and putting up with my entrepreneurial, crazy side. I also have two sons, Jake and Ben. Jake is 15 and I have the privilege of working alongside him as he steps into The Funky Brewster as his first job. Ben is 11, and also helps out with the business as needed. I am thankful to have a network of support in both Colorado and California to help me realize my dream of caffeinating and connecting people, one funky cup of coffee at a time!
